The Town Board of the Town of Greenville will hold a Public Hearing on the 2026 Preliminary Budget, at the Town Hall, 1537 US Highway 6, Port Jervis, NY 12771, in the Town of Greenville, on November 6, 2025 at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. At this time all interested parties will be heard in favor or against any item or items therein contained.

The Town of Greenville was officially created on December 2, 1854 by an act of the Orange County Board of Supervisors. The first town meeting was held at the home of Johnathan Wood, with Timothy Wood presiding as Supervisor. The town was previously a part of the Town of Minisink. Greenville is located in western Orange County, New York, with a population of 4,706 people, as reported by the 2021 Census.
